Hello, my fellow readers (and writers)! Welcome to my website. I hope you find a new book to enjoy and a new author to love (me!).

Most of my writing is based on what I love to read (I’m a heavy reader of all things romantic suspense, contemporary, romcoms, and sometimes a little on the dark side). I’m all about the angst and tension and, of course, love, romance, and the sizzle.

If you are looking to read a clean, light-hearted romance (think Hallmark), my books will not be for you. If you’re looking for erotica, that is not me, either. I’m… in between. My characters swear. They kiss. They think taboo things, and once or twice, they get a little risqué.

But that is not the focus of my stories. I focus on the trials and tribulations and the action and adventure that fall onto the pages of my books. I like tension and surprises. Hopefully, when you read my books, you will find what you’re looking for.
 
A few things about me...
I am a born and raised Wisconsinite. 
 
My love of writing started in my teenage years, but I never tried to do anything with it. I wrote a novel in my high school days but never attempted to publish it. Indie publishing wasn’t a thing back in the late 80s-early 90s and I didn’t know the first thing about reaching out to agents and publishers. Writing was a hobby for me. A way to escape the boredom of rural living. These days, I find I not only enjoy writing books but publishing the books as well. It is not for the faint of heart, to be sure. Formatting is my nemesis.
 
I’ve been married 18 years. I have four daughters; my two oldest are from my first marriage, and the two youngest are from my current one. 

I have three granddaughters and two grandsons. 

We have squatters: two dogs, a cat, a lizard, and umpteen fish. The lizard and fish are compliments of daughter #3. She (and daughter #4) would have a snake if I’d let them, but that’s a hard no. When the snakes move in, momma’s moving out!

For the last ten years, my husband and I have owned and operated an NEMT business which takes up most of our time and leaves little time for my writing or anything else. But a few words a day or a week are a few words closer to another published story, so I keep plugging away.
